Analyze the Case From Plaintiff or Defense Perspective
- Assess and interpret medical records- Identify and review relevant medical records, hospital policies and procedures, other essential documents and tangible items- Prepare chronologies of the medical events- Screen the case for merit - Identify, summarize and interpret applicable standards of care- Detect adherences to and deviations from the applicable standards of care- Identify potential defendants- Develop written reports for the attorney's use as study tools

Support the Attorney’s Case and Serve as the Attorney's Liaison
- Search medical and nursing literatures and integrate results into
case analysis- Interview plaintiff and defense clients, key witnesses and experts- Consult with relevant healthcare providers, including management and executive levels- Meet with other consultants and service providers on the attorney's behalf
